Your RoleThe M365 DevOps platform team is tasked with end-to-end support of the M365 platform. As a Platform Engineer, you will be a specialist responsible for configuring the platform, implementing new functionalities based on our strategic roadmap and business requirements. A solid understanding of Microsoft Entra and M365 is essential for all Platform Engineers. You will collaborate closely with level 1 and 2 support teams; should they encounter incidents or problems beyond their expertise, you will engage with level 3 teams to resolve these issues. Additionally, you will share responsibility for the solution architecture, roadmap, and implementation of new functionalities, as well as governance tools and measures that will be transitioned to the level 2 team for ongoing management and support.
The M365 Development & Operations team comprises approximately 15 FTEs and is expanding. Team members work collaboratively in an Agile DevOps framework, each bringing unique expertise across the diverse functionalities and applications offered through M365. This environment provides opportunities for professional growth and cross-training in various specialties.
Responsibilities and RequirementsABN AMRO is actively expanding its Microsoft 365 platform to better support business users across various use cases and expectations. As we advance on this journey, it is critical to establish clear architecture, well-defined solutions, and operational governance to facilitate the development and utilization of our platform. As part of the M365 platform team, you will be a generalist with a comprehensive understanding of the M365 platform, PowerShell, and automation, while also engaging with teams responsible for Microsoft Defender, Purview, Power Platform, and more.
Your contributions may lead to collaborative projects with other organizational units, leveraging the breadth and depth of your expertise. As a technical expert, you will be viewed as a trusted advisor, capable of articulating rational decisions and presenting them to management.
We seek candidates with proven technical proficiency within the M365 product suite, who have successfully guided organizations in their M365 journeys. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge of M365
- Advanced (administrator-level) expertise in key M365 products such as Teams, Outlook, Exchange, and SharePoint Online
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure pipelines
- Understanding of Entra ID and Identity and Access Management concepts
- Experience in large or complex organizational settings
- Strong communication skills with solution architects, IT specialists, and business users
- Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
We provide a competitive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, inclusive of vacation pay and a benefits budget. The benefits budget, amounting to 11% of your salary, allows for the acquisition of additional employment benefits. If unused in a given month, one-twelfth of the benefits budget will be paid out.
