Wat houdt de stage in?

Het ontwikkelen van gebruikersinterfaces is een essentieel onderdeel van softwareprojecten. De laatste jaren is het bouwen van cross-platform interfaces steeds belangrijker geworden, vooral voor producten die draaien op embedded Linux systemen. Binnen DEMCON willen we de voordelen van de beste beschikbare frameworks voor populaire programmeertalen benutten. Dit vereist een grondige analyse van de prestaties, ontwikkeltijd en andere relevante factoren. Deze stage richt zich op het uitvoeren van deze analyse en het creëren van enkele proof of concept applicaties om de bevindingen te onderbouwen.

Opdrachtomschrijving

Om cross-platform gebruikersinterfaces effectief te kunnen evalueren, zijn de volgende taken voorgesteld door het softwareteam:


• Onderzoek naar bestaande cross-platform frameworks

Binnen DEMCON worden momenteel de volgende programmeertalen gebruikt voor de ontwikkeling van gebruikersinterfaces:

o C#/.NET

o C++

De stagiair(e) dient te onderzoeken welke frameworks beschikbaar zijn voor deze talen en hoe deze toepasbaar zijn binnen DEMCON.


• Ontwikkeling van een proof of concept met de geselecteerde frameworks

Om de functionaliteit, ontwikkelsnelheid en andere belangrijke aspecten te beoordelen, moet er een proof of concept worden ontwikkeld. Dit zal helpen om de geschiktheid van het framework voor DEMCON te bepalen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

Je bent een HBO of WO student in de richting van Computer Science of een vergelijkbare studie.


• Je hebt ervaring met programmeren.


• Je hebt kennis van C++.
