Job OverviewThis role is responsible for protecting our customers by proactively identifying potential failure modes in processes through PFMEA analysis. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategies to mitigate top quality risks based on likelihood and severity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential failure modes in processes.
- Develop and execute strategies to mitigate top quality risks based on likelihood and severity.
- Lead continuous improvement programs/projects aimed at reducing quality risk.
- Work with the EU commercial team to understand unmet customer needs and translate those into improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
- Three or more years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience applying PFMEA and other quality core tools in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability through the application of disciplined problem-solving tools.
- Demonstrated application of statistical analysis to make decisions and drive actionable strategies.
- Experience demonstrating the application of Automotive Quality Core Tools.
- Experience demonstrating the application of additional Quality Capabilities.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and applying statistics to generate knowledge systems.
- Understanding and application of economics, value creation, and risk-based thinking for continuous improvement.
