Background Information
The Business Line Applications at ASML provides integrated solutions with computational metrology and control technology for improved efficiency of lithography products. Within the Development & Engineering department, the Alignment Performance and Integration group is responsible for developing wafer fab applications that optimize the alignment between layers on product wafers.
Your Assignment
You will be contributing to developing, calibrating, and validating physics-based process models to simulate and understand the process impact on alignment. You will also help develop a solver for numerical optimization of inverse problems and run simulations on High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. Finally, you will document and present your learnings to ASML internal stakeholders.
Your Profile
To be a perfect match for this internship, you:
- Are a Bachelor or Master student in physics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Have a strong understanding of semiconductor processing technology and the MATLAB programming language.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and a mindset to take initiative.
- Have great communication skills and are a demonstrated team player.
This is a Bachelor or Master internship with a duration of a minimum of 6 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting as soon as possible. Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of the internship.
