Transformative Sustainability Leadership

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Sustainability Manager to drive our sustainability strategy forward. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with internal departments and external partners to advance our sustainability initiatives and ensure effective progress.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including NGOs, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and community groups.
  • Represent the organization in sustainability-related forums and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners to identify shared sustainability goals and drive collective action.
  • Stay abreast of evolving sustainability regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Work with concerned departments to address regulatory sustainability requirements.
  • Monitor performance against key sustainability performance indicators.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate sustainability-related risks affecting the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified sustainability risks and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure improvement.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports on sustainability risks, mitigation strategies, and progress for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve internal and external sustainability communications channels.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve sustainability practices throughout the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to assess and manage sustainability risks within the supply chain.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant subject area, such as Sustainability, Social Science, Corporate Responsibility, Business, or Economics.
  • 6+ years of experience within an international Apparel, Fashion, and/or Retail industry environment.
  • Proven experience in sustainability roles with a focus on external stakeholder engagement and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage/interact and develop partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize risks.
  • The ability to look for opportunities to improve and drive change in your focus areas.
  • A positive, energetic, and solution-oriented attitude.
