We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Consultant to join our team at Nexio Projects. As a trusted advisor to clients across various sectors, you will play a key role in helping them navigate the complexities of sustainability management and reporting.

With over 50 colleagues based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and innovation. This role involves working on a freelance basis, completing assignments that meet prescribed specifications while maintaining excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, supporting their corporate sustainability strategy and optimising their sustainability management system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clients with their corporate sustainability strategy and optimising their sustainability management system
  • Updating clients' sustainability policies, procedures, and reports
  • Working on sustainability gap analyses of clients and developing roadmaps to improvement
  • Supporting clients with their Eco Vadis assessment
  • Writing/drafting annual sustainability reports

The ideal candidate should possess advanced project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and strong presentation skills. A proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to make complex ideas accessible and edit others' writing to ensure clarity.
