Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Manager to join our team at ABN AMRO Clearing. As an Operational Risk Manager, you will be responsible for safeguarding the Clearing organisation for operational risks, including information security and business continuity risks.
You will challenge the Clearing organisation on their maturity of controls and risk mitigating actions, supporting the organisation with your vision towards operational risk management and your pro-active alignment to keep Clearings' process and IT infrastructure safe and available for operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing risk plans, risk analyses, and risk opinions on incidents and changes
- Conducting control testing, risk tooling, training, and evaluation
- Initiating and managing operational and awareness programs
- Collaborating with the I&ORM teams in Amsterdam and London to execute Information and operating risk management for the offices in Amsterdam, London, Brazil, and Frankfurt
- Providing risk management support to the 2nd line risk management of AAB Clearing
We are looking for a risk specialist with extensive operational risk expertise, a good understanding of information security, and strong soft skills. You should have a strong vision, be pro-active in taking initiatives, and be risk aware. Additionally, you should have a good talent in stakeholder management and not be shy in showing backbone.
About the TeamOur team is responsible for the 2nd line risk management of AAB Clearing, where you will be working closely with the I&ORM teams in Amsterdam and London. We are a multicultural environment, and we use English as our primary language.
About the CompanyABN AMRO Clearing is a specialized business within ABN AMRO, holding its own banking license (ABN AMRO Clearing Bank NV). We are a global company with approximately 1,000 FTE, largely self-sufficient, and organizing our own supporting organization.
