Job Description

The Internal Auditor role at Yacht involves a range of audits and advisory engagements in a dynamic and complex environment. As an experienced auditor, you will contribute to the success of our organization by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits as lead auditor or support the lead auditor in performing audits, identifying exceptions to operating procedures and standards, and defining recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare audit reports and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring key messages are captured and delivered.
  • Ensure audit assignments are completed within expected timeframe, managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate with internal customers, understand their needs, and build effective working relationships.
  • Provide feedback, training, or coaching to team members in areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to the creation of the Internal Audit plan, identifying key topics and emerging risks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant post-Master Degree in Accounting/Auditing, preferably with a professional certification such as RA, RO, RE, or CPA.
  • Audit experience in public accounting and/or a large internal audit function (4-6 years).
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and multicultural teams in a corporate setting.
  • A valid work permit for The Netherlands.
