At ASM Pacific Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vision Engineer to join our team in the development of advanced vision and alignment systems for our LASER1205 product line and future LASER1206 platform.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and engineering advanced vision and alignment systems, leading the technical development of the system according to the product development roadmap, and working closely with the R&D and Software engineering departments to specify system requirements, design specifications, and test procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer advanced vision and alignment systems
  • Lead the technical development of the system according to the product development roadmap
  • Work closely with the R&D and Software engineering departments to specify system requirements, design specifications, and test procedures
  • Develop prototypes, drive solutions towards production release, and support customers in using the functionalities

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in industry or a Ph.D. in the field of Computer/Machine Vision
  • Experience in developing computer algorithms and programming, preferably with Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience with writing system requirements and specifications, building prototypes, and conducting performance tests
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering activities
  • Result-driven attitude and good communication skills
