Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Strategist plays a critical role in driving business growth and success by interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. About the Role:

This senior-level position is responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in expediting within the supply chain function. To excel in this role, one must have in-depth expertise and broad knowledge of the expediting discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices to drive business growth and success.
- Solve complex supply chain-related problems, often working independently with minimal guidance.
- Lead functional teams or projects, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal partners.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a supply chain organization.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and success through strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

What We Offer:

McDermott International offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
