Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Forescout Technologies Inc is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Eindhoven. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing software quality assurance processes and test cases, and collaborating with our engineering teams to guarantee the overall quality of our solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Define, implement, and execute quality assurance strategies and test cases
  • Participate in the software validation phase, implementing manual and automated test cases to ensure absolute quality of product releases
  • Develop automated test scenarios based on product specifications provided by product and engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot validation pipeline issues and report and document defects found
  • Lead resolution processes of customer escalations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including at least 2 years' experience in software product validation and testing
  • Entry-level experience with at least one testing tool and framework: Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, etc.
  • Knowledge/entry-level experience of networking and/or network security
  • Good knowledge of Linux OS is a must
  • Familiarity with Ansible or Python or both programming language
  • Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Familiarity with SCRUM methodology
  • Personal skills:
    • Team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams in a Scrum/Agile team
    • Excellent attention to detail in identifying software defects and ensuring product quality
    • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains (applications, network, system)
    • Strong organizational skill, high degree of ownership, and responsibility to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize testing efforts efficiently
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies, testing methodologies, and industry trends
    • Fluent in spoken and written English
