Your Responsibilities
You will oversee the execution and enhancement of our health and safety policies, contributing significantly to our operational standards.
How will you achieve this? You will ensure occupational safety within our logistics operations and serve as the primary contact for safe working practices. Your role involves identifying challenges, addressing reports, consulting with stakeholders, and advising management on potential improvements. You will accomplish this by:
developing, advising, and executing the health and safety strategy; creating an action plan from the risk assessment and leading the resulting initiatives; managing incidents and ensuring thorough follow-up on all reports; initiating and/or participating in cross-functional teams to draft and refine process documentation, work instructions, and control charts; interpreting relevant laws and regulations to implement practical solutions.Your team is distinguished within DSV, with its four members located across various sites in the South-West Netherlands region. The team is recognized for its collaborative spirit, supporting one another as needed. You will have the autonomy and resources necessary to excel in this role.

Your Qualifications
Relevant experience and a strong affinity for health and safety within a logistics or process-oriented organization. Proficiency in both Dutch and English, in verbal and written communication.These qualifications are essential for the Health & Safety Specialist role. It is also crucial that you feel comfortable within our organization, which is likely if you are driven, courageous, and eager to grow with DSV.
