Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

• Coordinate and oversee transactional processing with the Shared Service Center (BSC)
• Review and approve AP invoices, ensuring correct coding and entity in SAP
• Manage AR duties, including order registration, sending order confirmations to customers, and timely billing
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including safekeeping of Company Assets and Inventory Counts
• Support debt collections, tax, and insurance activities
• Manage bank processing, including cash management and bank guarantees
• Administer payroll, including maintaining local Employee Data Base and preparing monthly payroll mutations files
• Support inventory management, including journal entries for disposals and additions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing reporting, tax, and insurance activities

• Professional knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience in an international, financially driven work environment
• Written and verbal proficiency in English and Dutch
• Experience with SAP (FICO, S4H) and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Flexible mentality with good social and communication skills
• Customer focus and profit-oriented
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting tight deadlines

The position is based at our Leiderdorp office in the Netherlands, with occasional travel to other Bruker locations in the Netherlands. Remote work arrangements can be discussed.
