Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team in Amersfoort. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating high-quality end-user handbooks for passenger cars and commercial vehicles using an ultramodern content management system.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing vehicle design information;
  • Drafting and proofreading of end-user manuals;
  • Validation of written materials on prototype vehicles;
  • Giving support to the translation process;
  • Initiating process improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Knowledge of automotive technology;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language;
  • Knowledge of common office PC applications like Word and Excel;
  • Knowledge of XML and XML editing software.

Salary: €2700 - €3000 gross per month on full-time basis, excl. 8% holiday pay, 13th month salary, homework allowance, pension plan.
