At Viterra B.V., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in shaping the future of our IT infrastructure.

Your Role in Our Team
  • We require a seasoned professional with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining regional and global network and firewall solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, security, continuity, and efficient operation of our corporate networks.
  • As a Senior Network Engineer, you will assess the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, develop strategies for improvement, and implement changes to enhance our IT systems.
  • You will also be responsible for implementing security measures to protect our company from cyber threats, conducting security assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
About You
  • With a degree in Information Technology or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, you possess a strong foundation in networking principles, protocols, and security concepts.
  • You have extensive experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer, as well as knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9000 series and Cisco Catalyst family.
  • A certified CCNA Routing and Switching expert, you are adept at analyzing complex issues within an enterprise environment and resolving them efficiently.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior colleagues make you an ideal fit for this position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IT OPS staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems, services, and software.
  • Develop and maintain networking and security standards and documentation to ensure effective knowledge transfer and team collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior colleagues and lead by example.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
