We are seeking a motivated and self-sufficient Software Development Engineer who is passionate about delivering exceptional software solutions. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of critical locations, including major transportation hubs.

Work Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Location: Flexible (Remote options available)

Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer at DAEL Security, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on, developing, and implementing software solutions tailored to meet client requirements and align with our strategic objectives.
  • Supporting operational teams in troubleshooting issues, enhancing equipment functionality, and creating new software applications.
  • Safeguarding our source code against unauthorized access and ensuring data integrity.
  • Providing technical and IT support to various departments, including sales, service, projects, R&D, and technician training.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum HBO working and thinking level.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or English, both written and spoken.
  • Expertise in Full stack development, .NET, C#, Java, SCADA applications, PLC, OPC, SQL (MySQL, Postgres), Splunk, Microsoft, and Linux environments.
  • A self-starter with a results-driven and detail-oriented mindset.
