Position Overview:

This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the Global Media division at Just Eat Takeaway, overseeing media strategy and execution across multiple European markets.

We are seeking a Senior Media Manager responsible for developing and implementing media strategies specifically for Austria and Belgium. This position requires a deep understanding of business challenges, consumer insights, and the ability to craft effective media strategies tailored to these markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily planning and execution of media initiatives within your designated countries.
  • Clearly communicate strategies and plans to broader teams in an engaging manner.
  • Oversee specific budget allocations for your markets and ensure accountability for media performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Marketing teams to identify local business challenges and opportunities, translating these into clear agency briefs and strategies.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the Media agency in your regions, inspiring the team to create outstanding media plans while challenging their strategic approaches.
  • Engage in detailed commercial negotiations with media vendors, working alongside the Media agency.
  • Leverage your media expertise to partner with our award-winning Brand team, ensuring campaigns are supported by an optimal media mix for maximum impact.
  • Work closely with the Insights team to analyze market trends and consumer behavior, aiding in the prediction of trends and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with our in-house Digital team to develop a comprehensive media strategy and plans for your markets.
  • Stay informed about the latest media trends and effectively communicate key opportunities to the marketing community.
  • In addition to market-specific responsibilities, you will have the chance to lead projects for the entire Global Media team.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in media management.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute multimedia campaigns from start to finish.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-budget media campaigns, whether from a brand or agency perspective, with involvement in key stages of the media buying process.
  • A skilled negotiator, capable of leveraging influencing skills to secure favorable deals.
  • A strategic thinker, able to assess how media can influence key business metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audience expertise levels.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a willingness to delve into the details of media plans and evaluate performance thoroughly.
