Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Configuration Engineer to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering and establishing the configuration of vessels. Your practical technical knowledge will enable you to determine the ship's configuration and create a Product Breakdown structure in our common Source Database.

• Gathering all relevant Configuration data;
• Gathering all relevant Service information;
• Creating Product breakdown structures in the Common source tool;
• Maintaining the configuration database and archive

• Strong attention to detail and an affinity for configuration management, data management, and change control;
• MBO technical education, Maritime or equivalent;
• Thorough knowledge of ship systems is a plus;
• Reading / interpreting technical drawings;
• Experience with ERP systems and working with databases;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• Ability to work well under time pressure;
• Accurate, orderly, customer-oriented, quality-conscious;
• Team player and has a hands-on mentality
