Data Processing Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Processing Engineer to join our team at Thales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating advanced signal and data processing algorithms for our radar and electro-optical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain algorithms for extracting relevant physical information from received data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into our radar systems.
- Conduct performance analysis and validation of algorithms to ensure optimal results.
- Participate in requirement engineering and stakeholder discussions to ensure alignment with project goals.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong affinity with algorithm development, statistics, or Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, Python, and C++.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
