Project Buyer Role

As a Project Buyer at ATAG Benelux, you will play a key role in supporting the development of innovative premium kitchen appliances in an international environment. Your mission will be to take the lead within projects to cover purchasing tasks for new components and select the right suppliers (new or existing). Your focus will be on the product group hobs and cooking fume extractors, and you will also explore opportunities with suppliers that could be interesting for our other international product groups.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supplier selection within the project for new parts and services in close cooperation with the Strategic Purchasing department and Quality department
  • Negotiate the best conditions for the project/company
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers for running components/services
  • Explore new opportunities in the market for our product categories
  • Fulfill purchasing-oriented tasks within development projects
  • Handover for Start of Production towards operational purchasers and/or our manufacturing companies
