About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at DEME Group. As a key member of our offshore projects team, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement method statements for offshore projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse nationalities and disciplines
  • Review and check Orcaflex work from the engineering department and detailed engineering reports
  • Optimize and implement method statements in practice
  • Take the lead on site and ensure objectives are met on time and on budget
  • Provide logistics support to vessels and ensure they receive the necessary resources

Requirements

  • Qualified civil or industrial engineer, preferably in construction or electro-mechanics
  • Keen interest or knowledge in marine, hydraulic engineering, and/or subsea cables
  • Strong budgeting, calculation, and execution skills for civil works
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel on rotation or work from our HQ in Belgium
  • Fluent spoken and written English
