Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Olympia. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Accurately record and track the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse
- Ensure that inventory levels are up-to-date and accurate
- Stock Placement
- Properly store items in designated locations
- Retrieve items for order fulfillment as needed
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline and optimize stock movements
- Quality Assurance
- Check goods for any damage and ensure they meet the company's quality standards
- Safety Adherence
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment
- Problem Solving
- Quickly address and resolve any issues related to stock discrepancies, equipment problems, or safety concerns
Requirements
- Valid MHE operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; prior experience is required
- Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Availability for one weekend day twice a month is essential
- Proficient in safety protocols and the safe operation of equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for navigating tight spaces
- Detail-oriented to ensure precise pallet stacking and accurate inventory management
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
- Strong communication skills and effective teamwork abilities
