Senior Finance Manager for Financial Operations and Reporting

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing several departments that contribute to our finance mission of creating sustainable value every day.

As part of our MT Finance team, you will work closely with colleagues to formulate the finance strategy and translate it into main goals for Financial Operations & External Reporting. You will also be responsible for managing RSG Finance together with the MT Finance colleagues on a strategic and tactical level.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will safeguard and manage the financial team to enable accurate, complete, and timely deliverables within tight deadlines.
  • You will manage the external auditor and all reporting compliance matters, including tax.
  • You will be front-facing to external parties such as the external auditor, Tax Authorities, and consultancy firms.
  • You will safeguard the financial risk and control framework together with the financial risk officer.
  • You will advise on complex accounting matters and tax topics.
  • You will be responsible for continuous improvement and efficiency of the O2C, P2P, and R2R processes by managing and steering the business process managers.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will have strong organizational skills and capacity to continuously improve with the team. You will be proactive in advice and independently initiate improvement processes. You will also have excellent communication skills to convince at different levels within the organization.

Your Qualifications
  • You will have 15+ years of relevant working experience within (corporate) finance departments and preferably relevant external audit experience within the Big 4.
  • You will have a WO degree in accounting or finance with an advanced degree or certification (such as RA, CPA, CA, or ACCA).
  • You will be able to steer a team with a large span of control.
  • You will have proven experience in improving processes and implementing change.
  • You will have excellent analytical skills and result-oriented.
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
Compensation and Benefits
  • €8040 to €11072 gross per month (Buiten-CAO 4-C)
  • Availability bonus
  • Participation in the ABP pension fund
