Role OverviewWe are seeking a Logistics Operations Supervisor who excels in maintaining efficient departmental operations while emphasizing safety protocols. This role involves overseeing a team of approximately 15 logistics personnel.
As a key player in an international environment, proficiency in English is essential. You will primarily manage one department but may also provide support to other areas as needed. Responsibilities include developing work schedules, overseeing staffing and warehouse logistics, and ensuring the effective management of incoming and outgoing goods.
Your enthusiasm for logistics will be complemented by your dedication to the growth and development of warehouse and multi-skilled operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor KPIs and departmental objectives;
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members;
- Participate in meetings focused on safety, quality, service, productivity, and personnel management;
- Initiate and implement improvements within the department;
- Ensure workplace organization and maintain performance records;
- Lead departmental meetings;
- Support the development of warehouse and multi-skilled operators.
This position operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work during peak periods.
Qualifications- Fluency in Dutch and English;
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a similar environment;
- Familiarity with MS Office and ERP/WMS systems is preferred;
- Completed MBO level education.
- Competitive gross salary ranging from €2900 to €3200, based on experience and full-time availability;
- Direct employment contract for one year;
- Travel expenses covered up to 70KM;
- Quarterly bonuses based on hours worked;
- Shift allowance of 8.75% for every hour worked;
