We are an independent unit within ING's CTO domain, reporting directly into ING's Chief Technology Officer. Our organisation is Business Services oriented, with a strong strategic and commercially focused structure around our services.

Salary and Benefits

The salary indication for this role is €8,387 - €13,272 per year, based on 36 hours per week. This figure excludes benefits and is tailored to your qualities and experience in global job grade 20.

We offer a 40 hour workweek, individual leave of 24+2 days based on 36 hr workweek, diversity leave of 3 days per year (1.5 paid, 1.5 unpaid), CSR days of up to 2 days per year, 13th month salary, holiday payment, individual savings contribution, lease car, attractive pension scheme, and hybrid working arrangements.

Job Description

As a Product Area Lead for Order Management and Swift, you will be responsible for designing, developing & operating solutions for our clients, allowing them to stay a step ahead in life and business. You will be the business owner of the Order Management and Swift services and solutions, responsible for financials, risk, portfolio management, delivery roadmap, service set up, professionalization, strategy, external market view of your services, and supporting the Head of Products in managing the products overall.

You will take ownership of large change initiatives within this domain, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with strategic goals. You will strengthen the 'ING way of working' while safeguarding our Orange Behaviour as a role model. You will stimulate cross-border interaction between people, tribes, squads and chapters within and outside your own Product Area.

You will facilitate, support and motivate product teams in your area, formulate a clear purpose for your Product Area based on client and product strategy and changing market conditions, and be responsible for delivering on the tribe purpose. You will ensure regulatory compliance across your entire Product Area and account for executing risk & control compliancy and mitigation of business and operational risks.

You will be organisational sensitive and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including service recipients like Wholesale Bank and Retail countries, and external stakeholders like Swift. You will strive for open and transparent communication within your Product Area, stimulate interaction between people within and outside their own domain, and build high-performance teams.

You will be responsible for alignment and cooperation with other Product Areas, Tech, and Ops, and represent ING at various industry forums and conferences or delegate representation. You will meet clients to represent ING on their Product Area, collate relevant industry-related trends and information, and use it in carrying out your role. You will also be the hierarchical manager of the Product Leads in your area and build the craftsmanship of the Product Leads in line with the strategy of the Tribe and Area.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Master's degree and over 10 years of experience in a senior position in payments. You should have a proven track record in product, marketing, and/or program management, sound experience in building multi-year strategic roadmaps and delivering on them, expertise in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams, and experience in representing an organisation like ING in an industry body/governance.
