Position Overview:

As a Customs Declarant at DSV, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations in Moerdijk. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of customs regulations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance and facilitating the smooth flow of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Ensuring all customs documentation and certificates for both import and export shipments are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Conducting thorough pre- and post-clearance checks on customs documents to maintain compliance.
  • Performing quality assessments and compliance checks to uphold our high standards.
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues regarding customs formalities and procedures.
  • Collaborating with customers, internal teams, and customs authorities to resolve any issues that may arise.

Candidate Profile:

  • A Diploma in Declarant (EVO/Fenex) is required.
  • Previous experience in a customs-related role is essential.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is necessary.
