About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an All-round Hospitality Employee at the Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Office:
    • Check-in and check-out guests
    • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
    • Handle reservations, payments, and invoicing
    • Respond to guest complaints and requests in a professional and courteous manner
    • Issue keys and maintain accurate registration
  • Breakfast Department:
    • Prepare and serve a breakfast buffet
    • Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere in the hotel
    • Restock food and beverages as needed
    • Clean and declutter the breakfast area after service
    • Ensure a warm and friendly service to all guests
  • Control Rooms and Maintenance:
    • Inspect rooms for cleanliness and condition after cleaning
    • Report maintenance issues and ensure prompt follow-up
    • Prepare rooms for new guests, including placing welcome gifts
Requirements
  • A degree in hospitality or relevant experience
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Ability to work in various departments, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly
