GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team. As a natural leader with a passion for motivating and guiding a team to success, you will be responsible for monitoring the available capacity of the entire department and tracking the productivity of each individual department.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Discuss important issues with your colleagues and ensure a smooth handover
  • Monitor the available capacity of the entire department and track the productivity of each individual department
  • Guide team leaders and coordinators in creating a good team and removing bottlenecks
  • Hold work meetings and conduct absence interviews
  • Assess your people, deal with leave requests, time sheets, and quality delivered by your teams during your shift
  • Take into account logistical planning and established KPIs
  • Reflect results with team leaders and discuss points for improvement

You Will Thrive in This Role If

  • You have a college degree and preferably a completed logistics education
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in managing teams in a warehouse
  • You are easy to talk to and speak fluently English (Dutch is nice to have but not mandatory)
  • You quickly master various processes and know how to improve them
  • You are able to motivate a large group in an engaging way
  • You are able to work shifts
