Second Officer

About the Role:

The Second Captain is a key member of our Rivertech team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. This role requires a strong understanding of nautical rules and regulations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations onboard the vessel, including navigation, maintenance, and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and build high-performing teams.
• Ensure the vessel's and equipment's effective and safe operation, as well as their compliance with regulations.
• Instruct all new crew members in safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance in accordance with company guidelines.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of nautical rules and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to make decisive decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with crew and passengers.
• Quick response to emergencies.
