Financial Business Controller

DP World Australia is seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Controller to join our team in Australia.
You will be working in a dynamic environment with a consistent drive for identifying and implementing improvements. You will have interaction with multiple stakeholders in the organization, both locally and globally. If you want to work with multiple enhanced applications like SAP, BPC, Microsoft Office, Kronos, Qlik, AFAS, etc. then please read on.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the financial month close process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare account reconciliations and explanations, and correct any variances.
- Perform analytical reviews to ensure correctness of financial numbers.
- Support the development of insight into operational expenses and full-time equivalent costs for supporting functions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in processes, cooperation, and systems to develop a world-class finance function.
- Support the development of the Internal Control Framework.
- Contribute to statutory reporting processes for legal entities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics, with a strong understanding of VAT and Tax on wages.
- 4+ years of relevant working experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP, BPC, and Qlik would be advantageous.
- Experience with IFRS.
- Big 4 experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English (C1) and Dutch (C1), with excellent communication skills.
