Server Field Application Engineer

GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY BV, a leading innovator in server and IT hardware, is seeking a skilled Server Field Application Engineer to join our dynamic team at the European Operation Center in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

As a Server Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting customers in resolving technical issues, including product usage and hardware/software-related topics. You will also coordinate internal resources and cross-functional team communication to find solutions for customers' technical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop hands-on experience with GIGABYTE Enterprise products, supported by Taiwan HQ teams.
- Collaborate with Taiwan HQ and local FAE teams to identify root causes of reported technical issues.
- Provide technical presentations and explanations to customers for reported technical issues and report on follow-up progress of implemented resolutions.
- Configure and set up test server systems to reconstruct/simulate reported technical issues; configure and set up test server systems for remote access by customers for Proof-of-Concept (PoC).
- Carry out on-site visits at customers' facilities to understand their operations and enable solution integration and issue resolution.
- Support business events when necessary, working with EMEA local customers and partners, EMEA sales teams, and marketing teams.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in a 2nd European language is highly preferred (German, French, Dutch, or Spanish).
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or related engineering fields like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.
- MBO level with proven working experience in related fields is also welcome.
- Background and experience with PC or server architecture.
- Skills for Ansible/Redfish/software system diagnostics are preferred.
- Experience with Linux OS is required.
- Skills of leading technical investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines.
- Ability to excel both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proactive attitude and abilities to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Regular travel is required for on-site customer support.
