The Team
You will be at the forefront of guiding the evolution of the 'TH Product Teams,' driving transformation and alignment to enhance operational efficiencies, thereby creating opportunities for strategic innovation within the organization.
The Role
In this capacity, the VP of Planning & Strategy will lead a central team responsible for crafting and implementing a long-term strategic growth framework. This role ensures a unified vision across all business sectors while enhancing our planning processes through:
- Strategic merchandise planning capabilities: Developing plans that align with key performance indicators to support brand growth strategies in close collaboration with global markets.
- Product lifecycle management with an emphasis on demand forecasting.
- Global forecasting accuracy, acting as the essential link between global markets and brands.
- Standardized reporting of brand-level insights.
- Prioritization and execution of long-term product strategies and brand initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Streamlining processes and milestone planning for continuous improvement.
- Engaging key stakeholders across the organization.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Over 10 years in leadership roles within Merchandise Planning and Allocation, with a minimum of 15 years in the MPA domain.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Proven track record in analytical and problem-solving capabilities, driving results through innovative approaches. Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data when formulating strategies. A mindset geared towards continuous improvement, with experience in leading large teams and managing multiple direct reports. A history of talent development, succession planning, and internal promotions.
