About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Host Intern at City Hotel Hengelo. As a Host Intern, you will be the face of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the front desk team to ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Assist with breakfast and bar service, ensuring that guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services, enabling you to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's marketing team to promote the hotel's services and amenities to guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Student at the Middelbare Hotelschool, Luchtvaartdienstverlening or Leisure and Tourism, or a comparable study.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with a working knowledge of French, German, or Spanish an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
