Your Role as a Lead Mechatronic Project Coordinator
In this pivotal position, you will manage groundbreaking projects across various sectors, including medical, semiconductor, and analytical industries. You will take charge of the complete lifecycle of intricate mechatronic systems and modules, from project inception through to industrialization. This role requires you to lead a diverse team of development engineers, ensuring accountability and successful project delivery. You will act as a crucial link between clients and your team, aiming for exceptional customer satisfaction. Your understanding of the business implications of your projects will enable you to anticipate shifts in organization, technology, and project scope, allowing you to make informed decisions.
Your Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with the account manager to prepare project quotations.
- Formulating project plans and diligently monitoring timelines and budgets.
- Creating progress reports for both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conducting risk and scope management.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams in the creation of advanced mechatronic systems.
- Facilitating effective communication with all stakeholders, from team members to senior management, including organizing steering committee meetings and preparing necessary decisions.
Your Ideal Profile
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A technical degree at a higher professional or university level.
- Over 8 years of experience managing complex mechatronic projects from initiation to industrialization.
- A keen awareness of the business interests of both clients and your organization.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client requirements while maintaining a balance between negotiation and adherence to agreements.
- A pragmatic approach to quality monitoring and process utilization.
- Familiarity with structured development processes and project management methodologies such as Prince II, IPMA, PMBOK, and/or CMMI, along with demonstrable experience in Agile and Scrum.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
