Position Overview

At ADM, we specialize in the processing of grains and oils for the food and animal nutrition sectors. Our team comprises over 325 professionals across various divisions, including bulk handling, extraction facilities, refining operations, and quality assurance laboratories. We also partner with specialized contractors for maintenance and technical services.

The ADM office supports commercial operations, logistics, process automation, and project management, alongside essential functions such as human resources and information technology.

Key Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Excellence Manager within our facility. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the advancement of our Operational Excellence Framework
  • Ensuring the standardization of methodologies and tools in accordance with the Operational Excellence Pillar
  • Upholding safety standards and fostering a culture of safety while achieving departmental objectives
  • Collaborating with the Plant Leadership Team to align Operational Excellence initiatives with strategic goals
  • Monitoring and reporting on cost-saving measures to meet financial targets
  • Coaching and guiding teams in the effective use of tools and methodologies
  • Engaging with teams to ensure compliance with timelines and drive measurable outcomes
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in production, process, or project management
  • Practical experience in project execution
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in technology and management systems
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
  • Experience in regulated environments such as food, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals (advantageous)
