Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global net zero sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing our global net zero strategy, working collaboratively with zone and function teams to deliver our greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global net zero strategy, aligned with our company's sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with zone and function teams to define and deliver specific initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet our targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to ensure effective collaboration and coordination on net zero initiatives.
  • Develop and manage processes to monitor and track our global net zero roadmap, providing insights and recommendations to key decision-makers.
  • Facilitate internal and external forums to share best practices, generate ideas, and identify opportunities for investment in net zero initiatives.
  • Identify and propose initiatives aligned with our greenhouse gas emissions targets and commitments to relevant decision bodies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in defining and implementing sustainability strategies focused on greenhouse gases, preferably in the food industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in building partnerships focused on sustainability with diverse entities and enrolling stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority and roles.
  • 8+ years of total professional experience, including sustainability and at least one of the following areas: food value chain, agriculture, NGO, or research organization in the food sector.
  • Ability to simplify complex challenges into clear strategies, roadmaps, and actionable initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial and non-financial objectives according to plan.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills.
