About the Role

CRH is seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure Virtual Desktop platform in Europe. Your expertise will be crucial in standardizing our environment and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and design DaaS solutions for the organization
Optimize Azure Virtual Desktop performance, scalability, and security
Provide end-users with a consistent and efficient virtual endpoint experience
Define standards for managing Azure Virtual Desktop, including Nerdio
Continuously monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring seamless user experiences
Collaborate with security to implement and manage appropriate security measures
Participate in the evaluation and definition of the User Experience, specifying standards for how applications and desktops should perform
Demonstrate expert-level proficiency with key technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, and Intune
Drive innovation and continuous improvement of the AVD Platform

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop
Active Directory Tooling management experiences
Intune Device Management
Entra AD
Basic level of education
Working in cross-functional teams on a European or Global level
