TenneT is seeking a highly skilled Policy Advisor to join our team in Arnhem. As a Policy Advisor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our offshore power system.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and regulations for offshore grid connection and power system development.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance future system operations and suggest new ideas.
- Review and update current requirements for High Voltage Direct Current systems (HVDC systems).
- Oversee and contribute to research needed for integrating the offshore system into our existing network.
- Contribute to the development of complex concepts and solutions for offshore power system integration.
- Master's degree in electrical or power system engineering.
- Multiple years of experience working in transmission system operations and system development.
- Strong knowledge of system operation processes (both planning and real-time) as well as control and protection schemes.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
