Procurement Coordinator

Fugro is seeking a highly organized and experienced Expeditor to join its EUAF Procurement & Supply Chain team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely delivery of materials, components, and products to meet production schedules and customer demands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and freight carriers to resolve issues and minimize delays. Additionally, they will work closely with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Communication and Coordination: Effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and freight carriers to ensure seamless operations.
• Tracking and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of orders, shipments, and delivery schedules to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to streamline operations, ensuring timely supplier communication and delivery of goods and services.
• Order Management: Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and products, monitoring inventory levels, and anticipating potential shortages or delays.

• Languages: Fluency in both Dutch and English.
• Education: Higher vocational education in a related field or working towards a qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience as an expeditor or in a similar role, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in a multinational company.
• Skills: Strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
