Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Category Buyer to join our team as a Procurement Specialist for Indirect Spend. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring marketing & sales, HR, facilities, and professional services related goods and services.

The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Category & Third Party Managers within General Services and the Operational Procurement Support team to achieve an optimal purchasing process within the category.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Procurement: Set priorities, operate independently, and autonomously for low-risk purchases, with a good understanding of the market and ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work in a team, contribute to process improvements, and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Facilities, Human Resources, and Corporate Services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Coordinate the procurement process with internal stakeholders, manage vendors, analyze and negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance across all vendor relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A positive attitude, accuracy, flexibility, analytical mindset, problem-solving aptitude, and skilled experience as a Procurement professional (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English (written and spoken), with hands-on experience in monitoring vendors, vendor performance monitoring, and experience with (P2P) procurement processes or Workday as a procurement system.
  • A 'can do' mentality, proactive approach, and eagerness to contribute to the organization's success.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around €60,000 - €80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
