We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join our Offshore Energy team at Boskalis. As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will play a key role in the tender phase, from kick-off to submission, and will be responsible for ensuring that all internal processes are completed on time.
You will work closely with the tender team, stakeholders, and business unit management to provide accurate cost estimates and advise on risk scenarios. Your expertise in stakeholder management and advisory roles will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain cost estimates and budgets for offshore energy projects
- Collaborate with the tender team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of cost estimates
- Advise on risk scenarios and provide recommendations to stakeholders
- Support the project team with work preparation and inventory management
- Challenge the tender team and stakeholders on their inputs to create an accurate cost basis
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost estimation, particularly in the Offshore Energy sector
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Expertise in stakeholder management and advisory roles
- Tangible technical and commercial insights
- In-depth knowledge of contract management and financial-economic business processes
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Analytical and accurate approach, with a focus on results and proactivity
