Sensory Science Internship in Nijmegen

Are you looking to gain experience in sensory science in an industrial setting? We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at MMR Research Worldwide LTD as a Sensory Science Intern in Nijmegen.

As a Sensory Science Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting sensory projects, supporting our team to ensure that sensory research runs smoothly and consistently delivers high-quality results. You will also have the chance to conduct an autonomous research project on a sensory science topic and present your findings to our client team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the on-site team in preparing sensory sessions, ensuring that sensory research runs smoothly and consistently delivers high-quality results.
  • Independently running and executing sensory projects from test setup and sample preparation to data collection, analysis, and report writing.
  • Planning and conducting an independent research project on a sensory science topic and presenting findings to the client team.

Requirements:

  • Availability for 5 to 6 months.
  • Enrollment as a Bachelor or Master Student (University of Applied Sciences (HBO)/University (WO)).
  • Enthusiasm with a can-do attitude.
  • Natural curiosity.
  • Proactivity and forward thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (fluency in written and spoken Dutch is an advantage).
  • EU working rights are required (EU Citizenship, studying in the Netherlands, relevant student work visa).
