Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Technology and Data Management Consultant to join our team. As a Tax Technology and Data Management Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing effective tax processes, supported by technology and data management solutions. You will work closely with clients to identify and articulate their tax and finance requirements, and help implement fit-for-purpose solutions to meet their tax calculations, data analysis, and reporting needs.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with clients' tax and finance teams to identify and clearly articulate their business requirements.
  • Help implement fit-for-purpose solutions to meet clients' tax calculations, data analysis, and reporting requirements.
  • Work with implementation teams to implement tax requirements into ERP systems and supporting tools like tax engines and tax reporting solutions.
  • Evaluate and document current and future state tax compliance and reporting processes.
  • Assist with data analytics projects, including the understanding and manipulation of data across multiple data sources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Tax Technology, Tax Law, Tax Economics, Information Management, Data Management, Computer Science, and/or Econometrics.
  • Proficient command of the Dutch and/or English language, both spoken and written.
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with programming (e.g. SQL, Python) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with data management, analysis, and visualization techniques and platforms (e.g. MS Power BI, Alteryx/KNIME, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with tax technology projects, tax engines, and/or ERP systems like SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of or affinity with tax (compliance) processes (e.g. Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing, or Indirect Tax).
