Job Description

">
  • ">
  • The successful candidate will provide environmental, health, and safety support to data center management.">
  • They will ensure compliance with state and local regulations.">
  • They will instruct and mentor employees on suitable health and safety practices.">
  • They will conduct routine facility inspections and assessments to recognize, identify, and mitigate potential EHS concerns and hazards.">
  • They will develop and maintain EHS-related metrics for tracking and reporting.">
  • They will identify and propose corrective actions and solutions for EHS hazards and risks identified during assessments.">
  • They will support and oversee the preparation and submission of appropriate regulatory documents.">
  • They will provide oversight of data center environmental permits to support compliance with all permit application and reporting to meet regulatory requirements.">
  • They will lead investigations of incidents and near misses to identify root causes and help management develop corrective actions.">
  • They will monitor potential exposures to certain chemical and/or physical hazards to determine the need for, and establishment of suitable controls.">
  • They will support written EHS program development and updates.">
  • They will promote a culture of awareness and empowerment for driving sound safety performance.">
  • They will attend seminars/workshops for further educational development.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • 2-4 years (or more) of direct EHS related experience.">
  • HBO degree (Integrale Veiligheidskundge or Middlebare Veiligheidskunde preferred).">
  • Working knowledge and experience in general industry health and safety processes, procedures, and requirements.">
  • Comfortable in both Dutch and English.">
  • May be required for regional support. Estimated at 10-25% travel.">

  • 25 Paid time off + 8% holiday allowance.">
  • The contract is for the duration of one year, after which extension is possible.">
  • The salary is a maximum of €5,000 gross per month for a full-time job (40 hours).">
