Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector - Pressure Equipment Specialist to monitor the technical integrity of pressure equipment. This role involves carrying out inspections and examinations within applicable legislation to ensure compliance with EHS procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently executing inspections and reporting on results;
  • Developing inspection plans and participating in Risk-Based Inspection analyses;
  • Managing and reporting on changes in the technical registration system;
  • Managing contractors in carrying out inspection scopes;
  • Independently managing inspection requests and prioritizing activities;
  • Contributing to the relationship with Lloyds Register Netherlands (NL-CBI) and independently managing annual RBMI line inspection programs.
Key Responsibilities

You will have decision-making authority over:

  • Changing the inspection register for planning and history;
  • Field report recommendations resulting from inspections;
  • Assessing pressure equipment under the supervision of a Senior Inspector;
  • Approving or rejecting results from inspection activities as part of the inspection plan.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • MBO (technical direction);
  • Certified Inspection and Testing Expert SKK level II or equivalent;
  • Good engineering capabilities;
  • Knowledge of plants and plant degradation mechanisms;
  • Risk-based inspection methods;
  • 5 years of working experience in similar positions;
  • Self-contained breathing apparatus SCBA certification;
  • A valid driver's license;
  • Positive test results for powers of vision and no physical restrictions due to working in confined spaces and high altitude;
  • SCBA physical fitness with repeating medical testing.
Estimated Salary

This position offers an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
