We are Werckpost, a professional and international organization based in IJmuiden. Our company has its roots in a family of fishermen and fishmongers, and we have evolved over time to become a leading sea fish wholesaler.

We buy fish supplied by various fish auctions throughout the Netherlands and also import from overseas areas. Our team is diverse, with many Polish, Latvian, and Ukrainian colleagues, allowing for effective communication in multiple languages.

As our new Fish Processing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Selecting fresh fish based on size or type
• Packaging the fish for storage
• Loading pallets onto storage shelves

Your working hours may vary, but you can expect a standard day shift from 6 AM to 5 PM or later, depending on your position within the production line and the workload for that day. You will also work every Saturday, but enjoy a free weekday each week.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Proficiency in the English language (spoken and written)
• Fitness to perform physically demanding tasks involving lifting boxes of varying sizes
• Previous experience in picking orders (though not essential)
• Private housing and reliable transportation (while desirable, these are not required)
