Company Overview
SSI SCHAEFER, a leading provider of innovative logistics solutions, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join its team at the PRIMARK distribution center in Roosendaal.
This state-of-the-art facility, covering over 30,000 square meters, serves as a central hub for supplying trendy clothing to France, Spain, and Italy.
As a maintenance technician, you will be part of our dedicated service team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various technical installations, including automated guided vehicles, automatic cranes, monorail systems, and pallet transport systems.
You will work closely with your colleagues to plan and execute maintenance activities, taking into account the importance of safety and efficiency in your work attitude.
Job Description
- Assist in troubleshooting malfunctions and coordinate maintenance actions with our logistics partner GXO.
- Develop quickly and receive an extensive induction program on the maintenance of various technical installations.
- Work with state-of-the-art technology, including own tools, laptop, and telephone.
- Have access to a fully equipped workshop and enjoy delicious coffee.
- Participate in maintaining SSI-SCHAEFER installations at KLM, requiring occasional travel to the Amsterdam region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completed a technical education, preferably at MBO-3 level or equivalent.
- Education in motor vehicle technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- Interest in maintenance work on logistics systems.
- Customer-oriented attitude and ability to take feedback from others.
Benefits

- An attractive salary between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on work experience.
- Surcharge of 16% on salary due to shift system and bonus scheme.
- Travel expenses: €0.23 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way).
