Senior Corporate Strategist, Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Strategist to join our Corporate Strategy team. In this critical role, you will play a key role in shaping IDEXX's corporate strategy, driving strategic initiatives, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Additionally, you will support competitive intelligence efforts, and regional and global market analytics to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance the corporate strategy efforts by gathering and analyzing data to help inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct market research analysis and collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to produce findings that shape IDEXX's overall strategy.
  • Manage high-priority strategic projects, including adjacent market assessments, and cross-functional initiatives aimed at driving business growth.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including competitive benchmarking, SWOT analysis, and industry trend analysis, to inform strategic decision-making and identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Translate market insights and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, supporting strategic planning, product development, pricing strategies, and market expansion efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm preferred.
  • Direct experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or related roles, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic projects and initiatives, with a strong understanding of strategic planning methodologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
