About the Role

Nordson Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Payroll Accountant with experience in Dutch Payroll Accounting for our Maastricht office in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll, including all necessary follow-up activities in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Communicate and exchange data with external payroll providers.
  • Maintain master data and manage wage accounts.
  • Create certificates of merit and statistical surveys.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and fiscal requirements.
  • Participate in audits by the tax office, pension insurance, professional association, and accountants.
  • Be the contact person for all employees with payroll-related questions.
  • Create reporting for other departments involved.
  • Prepare payroll-related accruals.
  • Follow internal audit processes to ensure monthly payrolls are correct.
  • Support projects.
Requirements
  • Experience in Dutch payroll accounting.
  • Completed payroll-related commercial or similar qualification.
  • Knowledge of social security and tax issues and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Good English skills due to international payroll responsibilities.
  • A service mindset and ability to communicate with all levels within an international organization.
