Job Title: Training Consultant (Research Officer Rank)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Consultant to join our team at the Hong Kong University (HKU) Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions and workshops across various disciplines within the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Centre staff and stakeholders.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for the Centre, including publications, presentations, and other materials.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Centre staff, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve project objectives.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve Centre operations and services.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in clinical, education, or counseling psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in training, education, or research, preferably in a university or research setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese), with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
